Unlike my skin care routine, I don't like using a million products in my hair. Instead, I find a solid set of products that I can always rely on and re-purchase them. That's why in this post, I'm sharing three hair care products with you that I swear by and use every single morning to achieve my texturized look that I rock on a daily basis. Here they are:
Shop The Post
Kevin Murphy Hair Resort Spray ($30 CAD)
Kevin Murphy's Hair Resort Spray is great if you're looking to add a beachy, texturized look to you hair without that gritty salty feeling. Every morning when I get out of the shower I spritz two or three pumps into the palm of my hand and work that into my hair. Not only does it add the perfect amount of texture, but it also gives it a teeny bit of hold. Another bonus? It smells like coconut and pineapple! Overall, if you're looking for a texturizing spray that's super effective, give this one a try.
*For a pliable texturized look, use this product when your hair is damp. If you want an extra texturized beachy look, apply it to your hair when it's dry.
OUAI Matte Pomade ($30 CAD)
This OUAI Matte Pomade is a relatively new addition to my daily hair care routine and I love it! It keeps my hair in place all day and gives me piecey separation that I always look for in my hair waxes and pomades. It also has a teeny bit of sheen that makes your hair look super healthy and glossy (if you're into super matte products, this one may not be for you). Lastly, I love that this pomade has a fragrant gardenia scent. You know I'm a huge fan of products that smell amazing and this one doesn't disappoint. Just keep in mind it does smell incredibly floral so if you're not into these scents, you may want to give it a smell before you purchase or order it online.
*I like to warm a pea size amount in the palms of my hands then work that into my hair from back to front. A little goes a really long way so you only need the teeniest bit!
Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1 ($33 CAD)
Last but not least is Drybar's 3-In-1 Triple Sec spray. After I work a pea size amount of the OUAI hair pomade into my hair, I always spray this product all over to add even more texture and the slightest bit of volume. I find the added texture keeps my hair in place, which is a bonus if I'm going to be out all day (especially in the spring and summer when it's humid). Lastly, I love that this product smells like vanilla. I can't tell you how many times I've been asked what scent I'm wearing that smells like vanilla when I have this product in my hair!
Drybar's 3-In-1 Triple Sec spray retails for $33 CAD at Sephora. Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray, which in my opinion is basically identical, retails for around $44-$46 CAD. If you want to save a few extra dollars definitely check this product out.
There you have it! Three hair care/styling products I can't live without. If you have any hair care products you're loving at the moment, let me know in the comment section below.
