Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer

It's incredibly hot and humid in Toronto, so applying a super light yet hydrating moisturizer is essential. At the moment my go-to is the Kate Somerville Oil-Free Moisturizer simply because the formula is ideal for the warm weather and it moisturizes my skin perfectly.

This product comes in a 1.7 oz pot with an extremely convenient pump dispense system. Not only does this prevent you from scooping out the product with your fingers, but it keeps the rest of the product sealed away from sunshine, the heat, etc. And although the packaging itself is quite bulky, it's still easy to throw in your travel toiletry or cosmetic bag and take with you on-the-go. If I head to Vegas at the end of the summer *fingers crossed*, I'm definitely bringing this moisturizer with me!

Consistency wise this product has a smooth, milky and slightly watery texture. It glides onto the skin when it's applied and only takes a few seconds before it is completely absorbed. Also if you're a fan of fragrance-free moisturizers I have good news for you...This product has absolutely no scent, which I find quite refreshing considering a lot of the other moisturizers I was using had very heavy fragrances.

I highly recommend the Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer if you're looking for a basic summer cream that's fragrance-free and is essentially a no-fuss product. It is on the more expensive side but the formula makes it worth the price tag. I purchased mine at Sephora (linked here) for around $65 CAD and I can't wait to test out more of their products in the near future.
