Striped t-shirts are one of those things you can wear all year round. In the warmer months they look great worn with shorts or in the evening with a pair of your favourite denim. But in the transition between summer to autumn, I especially love wearing striped shirts with a thicker, textured fabric that can be tucked into an awesome pair of trousers.
Believe it or not, the striped tee that I'm sporting in this post was under $20 at H&M. However, when it's worn with the right pants and a few great accessories you'll look and feel like a million bucks. As I always say, it's about how you wear pieces, now how much they cost! Anyways, aside from the killer price tag I also love that this tee is made of a waffle piqué fabric. This gives it more structure than your average cotton t-shirt which makes it looks higher in quality and ultimately, more expensive. At the end of the day, who doesn't want that!
As the season continues to transition into autumn, I challenge you to incorporate more striped clothing into your wardrobe. Ultimately, stripes have and will always be a classic, and they're one of the easiest ways to add character to almost any look. Especially if you're a huge fan of wearing neutral tones like me. That being said, I've included links below to a handful of striped shirts so you can recreate the look yourself!
