You guys know I'm a fragrance junkie, so I decided to share three of my top spring/summer scents with you! One of them is a body spray that has been a go-to of mine for over a year (that's how much I love it), and the other two are new-ins that I've really been loving recently. Here are my picks...
Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford is one of my favourite spring/summer scents. It has notes of Sicilian lemon, orange flower, mandarin, lavender and Tunisian neroli. These notes give it the perfect citrusy, floral fragrance with a hint of warmth that instantly reminds me of the Italian coast. I also love that this scent isn't overpowering, yet it has so much character and smells unlike any other unisex fragrance I've ever smelled. Overall, Neroli Portofino has been a favourite of mine for over a year and I highly recommend it if you're on the hunt for a fresh, floral, warm smelling scent for spring.
*TIP: The body spray retails for $87 CAD at Sephora and the 50mL eau de parfum version retails for $260 CAD at Sephora. If you don't want to purchase the eau de parfum, opt with the body spray. it smells exactly the same!
Ralph Lauren Polo Blue is the most masculine smelling fragrance of the three, but it definitely isn't too "manly" or overpowering. It has the perfect balance of melon, cucumber, tangerine, sage, geranium, basil, amber, patchouli and musk. This makes it ideal to sport in the spring and summer on a daily basis, but more specifically when you want to smell super sophisticated.
The 2.5 oz size I'm featuring retails for $92 CAD. Considering this version is an eau de parfum, it's a great bang for your buck because most eau de perfumes come with a hefty price tag.
Guys, I saved the best for last! This Maison Margiela fragrance was recently sent to me by the lovely team at L'Oréal Luxe. It's the earthiest and most mysterious of the three, hence the name, and has notes of ancient moss, sap, incense, black currant buds and fir balsam. Although this sounds like a super fall-esque combination, it actually smells incredibly fresh and almost fruity.
*Similar to Neroli Portofino, this fragrance is unisex!
There you have it. Three fragrances that I'm loving for spring 2017! If you have any fragrances that you love wearing in the warmer months, let me know in the comment section below. I would love to know!
