When I have to wake up for class at 6 a.m., the last thing I want to do is rummage through my closet, trash my room and leave clothes lying around for me to pickup when I get home. Not only is this process stressful, but it's time consuming and can often make me late for class. In order to avoid my early morning outfit stress, there's a few things I do the night before so I know exactly what I'm wearing. Here they are...
Fight the Laziness.
Trust me, laziness gets the best of us. I know what it feels like to lay in bed, scroll through your phone and not want to get up to choose your look for the next day...It's a total pain, but taking a few extra minutes to plan the night before is a must! Trust me, it'll make your life so much easier and will save you time, unnecessary stress and perhaps even a horrible clothing explosion that'll sit there for days before you decide to clean it up.
If you're unsure, give yourself options.
If you're debating between a few looks, or can't decide which jeans, jacket, shirt, etc to wear, layout two of your favourite options. You can wake up, get ready and choose which outfit to wear in the morning. However, make sure not to give yourself too many options or you'll end up changing a million times (I'm guilty of this) and probably won't be happy with your final outfit.
Keep things simple.
Keep your outfit simple people! Don't sport a crazy look that you wouldn't normally wear or experiment with your looks when you have to wake up super early. Wear what you know looks great on you and you'll feel and look great (even though you might be tired AF).
Check the weather...ALWAYS!
I can't tell you how many times I've picked out my outfit without looking at the weather and ended up regretting my choice the second I walk out the door. Either I'm way too hot or way too cold. That being said, check the weather the night before your early morning and formulate your outfit based on the temperature.
On early mornings, how do you formulate your outfits? Do you plan the night before or on the morning of? Let me know in the comment section below!
