I've been a fan of bomber jackets for years, but there was a time when I got bored of wearing them. Although they come in every colour of the rainbow and a number of different fits, I'm not one to sport a heavily printed bomber or one that's outrageously bright. So instead, I experimented with my looks and discovered that there's one simple piece I'm sure the majority of you have in your wardrobe that can elevate your bomber instantly. That piece is a classic longline tee!
Even though longline tees are simple, I find they add an edgy, urban vibe to any bomber jacket look that regulars tees won't give you. My favourites have and always will be from Urban Outfitters because they're great quality, come in a wide range of colours and they fit extremely well. Of course I've experimented in the past and picked up a few from Zara and H&M, but they just aren't the same! As a matter of fact, the army green one I'm wearing in this post has been a staple in my wardrobe for three(ish) years, and I don't think I'll ever get rid of it.
What are some of your favourite ways to style bomber jackets? Let me know in the comment box at the end of this post!
**Side note: If you're looking for more inspiration on how to style bomber jackets, Ali Gordon is an awesome source of inspiration. His looks are super urban and will definitely get your gears turning if you often wear distressed denim, chelsea boots and bomber jackets like me.
