The past few months were incredibly busy, so I thought I would treat myself and organize a mini getaway at The Hazelton Hotel. From hanging out in my favourite neighbourhood in Toronto to spending the afternoon at the spa, I couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off my Christmas vacation before I jetted off to Banff, Alberta for the holidays.
When I arrived at the hotel, I walked through the lobby and made my way into the reception area. I was greeted by a lovely individual who took care of my bags, directed me towards the elevators and reminded me that I was booked in for a treatment at the spa later that afternoon.
Honestly I was a little shocked she was aware of this, but when it comes to staying at a luxe hotel like The Hazleton, or any hotel for that matter, it's the little details that I appreciate the most. She also remembered my name, greeted me every time I walked through the lobby and did anything she could to make my stay enjoyable...I basically felt like I was part of the royal family!
"It's the little things that matter the most."
Note: Canada Goose's Langford Parka comes in a wide range of colours. I have it in limestone, but it also comes in black, graphite, navy, etc.
After I had a look around my room (which you may have seen on my Insta Story), I made my way down to the spa to relax and unwind. What surprised me the most was that they use an incredible line of products from Switzerland called Valmont. I've always been eager to learn more about the brand, especially after my Hazelton Signature Scrub!
The scrub itself is formulated with a blend of sea salt and essentials oils. After the mixture is scrubbed on your arms, legs, feet, back and neck, you wash off the residue and one of Valmont's moisturizing products is massaged all over your body. Not only did this treatment leave my skin feeling super hydrated, but it felt baby soft too.
Overall, my experience at The Hazelton spa exceeded my expectations. The treatment was incredible and the facilities were absolutely stunning. I also learned a lot about Valmont and their products which was a huge bonus because you know how much I love skin care and beauty products!
ONE, the restaurant located in The Hazelton offers some of the best in-room dining I've EVER had. Of course the presentation was incredible, but the food was delicious as well. As a blogger I appreciate pretty things (especially food), but there's nothing more satisfying when the food actually tastes just as good (or even better) than it looks.
Whether or not you're staying at The Hazelton, I highly recommend you stop by for breakfast or a bite to eat in general because the food is amazing. During the warmer months they also have a patio that wraps around the outside of the hotel, which I've already put on my list of places to checkout when the weather warms up!
Before I end this post, I have to thank everyone at The Hazelton Hotel for making my stay amazing!
