Transform Your Look with a Classic Turtleneck Ft. the 2018 GMC Terrain
"Turtlenecks are the simplest way to elevate any look."
If there's one piece of clothing you should pickup this season that can completely transform a simple look, especially on days when you don't know what to wear, it's a classic black turtleneck. Not only are they incredibly versatile, but they're comfortable to wear and instantly elevate any outfit. The one I'm wearing in this post is from Zara.
On a completely different note, this blog post also features the 2018 GMC Terrain. I was lucky enough to partner with them for my quick weekend getaway to Montreal with Abhi (@abhishekdekate), so I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and share my love for this black Zara turtleneck I've worn to death, in addition to sharing three features that I loved about the car, in addition to showcasing a few photos we captured at the infamous Gibeau Orange Julep. If you've ever been to Montreal, you definitely know what this place is famous for!
1. Park Assist
The 2017 GMC Terrain has a feature called park assist. Whether you're backing into a spot or parallel parking, a visual of the car from behind and overtop pops up on the screen found in the front console. You can see exactly what's around the vehicle, ensuring there's plenty of room for you to park.
2. Lane Keep Assist
Another amazing feature is lane keep assist. This technology keeps the vehicle centred in the lane, but it also ensures that when you're merging or switching lanes, that it's safe to do so. For example, if you're switching lanes and the car senses another vehicle approaching, it'll automatically veer you back into the "safe zone" and your seat will vibrate to indicate this.
Last but certainly not least, I loved how comfortable the car was to drive. The seats were plush, it was spacious (even for me who's 6 ft 1) and I especially loved that it was equipped with a number of high tech gadgets that made the journey to Montreal more enjoyable. Abhi connected his iPhone to the car, allowing him to control the music, make phone calls, enable voice activated texting and and keep an eye on the GPS throughout the journey.
Before I end this post, I want to give a huge shoutout to GMC for lending Abhi and I this awesome car for our short but sweet weekend getaway to Montreal!
In collaboration with GMC, however the thoughts, opinions and photos are my own.
